Welcome to the 2009–2010 school year at Woodlake Elementary. If you are new to the Woodlake family, an especially warm welcome to you! Woodlake PTA is dedicated to providing the best educational and social experience for your student and family. This website is a tool to keep you informed about the social events and academic opportunities that Woodlake sponsors throughout the school year.
The PTA encourages families to be involved in their student’s educational experience. This year, we are inviting every parent to pledge 2 hours of their time to volunteer at Woodlake with the 2 Hour Power Pledge. Family members are needed throughout the year to assist in many areas and programs. Don’t be shy grandparents, you’re sure to see other grandparents at all volunteer opportunities. Last year, Woodlake had more grandparent volunteer hours than any other school in the state. This year, the WES PTA is committed to reducing resource waste. Keep visiting this site to stay updated and informed. If you make this a habit for your family and the PTA continues to reduce the amount of paper sent home, everyone, including the planet of the future (which belongs to our children) wins.
